EVERETT, Washington, April 22, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Fluke Biomedical announced yet another addition to its Infusion Device Analyzer portfolio, the IDA-1S Infusion Device Analyzer.
The IDA-1S is a portable, battery-operated tool that allows for speedy verification of infusion device performance. Weighing less than three pounds, it is the ideal analyzer for quick and reliable one-channel measurements while on-the-go.
"The IDA-1S is the perfect complement to our infusion test portfolio," explains Dana Ingram, marketing manager for Fluke Biomedical. "Our customers will be pleased to find the reliability and accuracy they know from our legacy analyzers, coupled with a compact, portable design. It's an infusion test combination we've never offered until now."
The IDA-1S is capable of basic infusion device test measurements including flow rate and volume measurements, and can verify pressure generated in occlusions or blockages of the fluid line. Complete with on-board Hydrograph software, the IDA-1S can test a wide variety of infusion pumps.
Engineered with sophisticated measurement technology trusted by biomedical professionals around the world, the IDA-1S is easy to set up, simple to operate, and on-board memory allows test results to be stored instantly. It is battery powered with up to 10 hours of continuous operation, making it ideal for on-the-go testing. An auto-start feature simplifies syringe pump testing and other tests that have long startup times.
The IDA-1S is the latest in infusion device test solutions by the world leader in biomedical test equipment. Fluke Biomedical launched the IDA-5 Infusion Device Analyzer, an automated four-channel infusion device analyzer at the end of 2013.
