Comment from Takaaki Kimura, Representative Director and Senior Managing Executive Officer
Motorsports are in Yamaha's DNA. Challenging ourselves in motorsports has been an integral part of our corporate culture for over 50 years. They are also a direct embodiment of our brand slogan "Revs your Heart."
The basic direction of our activities is in the three aims: branding, technical feedback, and promotional activities, which will move our racing prowess forward on a global level.
To that end, we are upgrading our structure to achieve success in elite global races, share excitement with fans around the world, step up promotional activities, lay the groundwork in cooperation with our local group companies, and provide opportunities for developing and fostering the next generation of talent.
Our challenge is to provide "Rev" through motorsports. Please stay tuned.
*Our Corporate Slogan: Rev the engine. Hear it roar. Feel its power.
