MOSCOW, Sept. 10, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- From September 9 to 15, 2013, China's second-largest auto group, Dongfeng Motor Corporation, participated in COMTRANS/12 with a strong lineup of five models that included T-Lift, Captain, Yufeng , Rich, and Succe.

The opening ceremony of Dongfeng Pavilion took place on the morning of September 9. Alexander Shokhin, former first deputy prime minister of the Russian Federation and Ling Ji, an attache at the Chinese embassy in Russia, made speeches during the pavilion's opening. Su Weibin, deputy general manager of Dongfeng Motor International Co., Ltd ., gave a general introduction to DFM's basic situation, elaborated on its overseas strategy, and forecast the company's bright future in the Russian market.

DFM's exhibits fell into the categories of heavy-duty vehicles, light-duty vehicles, mini-vans, pickups, and commercial wagons, and they included the Dongfeng T-Lift 6?4 and 8?4 AWD dumpers, Dongfeng Captain N light-duty truck series, Dongfeng Succe van, Dongfeng Rich pickup with crew cab, and Dongfeng Yufeng high-end commercial vehicle. The exhibits spanned all of their series of commercial vehicles, among them heavy-duty vehicles, light-duty vehicles, mini vans, and passenger vehicles. Developed according to local market conditions, they are technically advanced and well matched. Showcasing the high speed, high efficiency, and high reliability of the Dongfeng brand, they are all-around transport solutions for customers.

During the exhibition, DFM's concise and elegant booth attracted foreign merchants from around the world. Regional managers of related products and business representatives of local dealers received visitors. Explaining model parameters in detail, they received unanimous praise from visitors for their profession. Meanwhile, executives of Dongfeng International introduced the company's general information and market strategy to visitors and held talks with local dealers.

According to DFM, the company is making great efforts to step up its overseas strategic distribution and thereby accomplish the strategic transformation and comprehensive development of its overseas operations. In the Russian market, the company has been launching readily marketable products, employing suitable marketing methods, firmly cementing customer awareness, and stepping up market development. The company will complete the product certification of passenger vehicle series and then launch the series in 2014.
