SHANGHAI, Aug. 13, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Increasing private car ownership and rising living standards in China have transformed cars from tools of transportation to premium lifestyle symbols. The 2013 Shanghai International Auto Aftermarket Fair (SIAAF) will become China's first truly international auto aftermarket event and a high-end B2B2C platform, representing the best of China's auto aftermarket, driving China's auto industry forward to match its top global counterparts and bring international standards to the country. In second-tier cities and the like, China's booming car market has boosted the automotive supplies industry, necessitating the SIAAF exhibition to represent the after-sales market. This year's show will take place at Shanghai New International Expo Center from October 10 to October 12.

Combined Strength Enhances Quality, Value

SIAAF brings the local auto aftermarket to the international stage. It will launch four themed zones to cover international auto life and services, auto accessories and retrofit technology. It will also explore e-commerce and new business models. It offers professional services and promotes international brands to auto accessories and retrofitting companies. During the three-day event, representatives of top international brands and buyers will meet and network.

A Mix of Style, Entertainment, Design, Retrofitting and Racing

SIAAF organizers Reed Hongda are ready to dive into a difficult business sector and build up the local auto culture. This sector requires high levels of investment and has a long ROI cycle. SIAAF enters into it confidently, knowing the potential of the Chinese market.

Shanghai International Auto Music Festival will run alongside SIAAF, blending elements of well-known Chinese music with popular American auto culture. The result will be a great mix of auto values, retrofitting, music, and street culture.

SIAAF will bring a greater level of internationalization to China's auto aftermarket. Chinese fans no longer have to go abroad for high-end retrofitting. Instead, auto supply vendors and retrofitters will be boosted by opportunities with top local and international partners.

SIAAF will run a Space Design Seminar supported by the world famous 100% Design brand to feature cross-disciplinary design collaborations, mobile business trends, workshops on smart combinations of the Internet of Things and the Internet of Vehicles, and the Auto After-Market and Retrofitting Summit. Top local and international experts, associations, and industry authorities will all take part.
