MOSCOW, April 12. /TASS/. Russian Deputy Prime Minister, Presidential Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev held talks with visiting North Korean Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho on Thursday.
Trutnev’s spokesman Timur Chernyshev told TASS that "the meeting was held in a friendly and constructive atmosphere," but refrained from comment.
On April 9, North Korea’s top diplomat arrived in Russia on a visit. On Monday he held talks with Russian Security Council’s Secretary Nikolai Patrushev. On Tuesday Ri Yong Ho met with Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
The visit had been scheduled to last until April 11, but was extended for one day. From Moscow, the North Korean foreign minister will head to Dushanbe for talks with Tajikistan’s officials due on April 13-15.
