MOSCOW, April 11. /TASS/. Russia is set to boost cooperation with Italy taking into account the country’s OSCE rotating Chairmanship in 2018, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Wednesday at a ceremony in which newly appointed ambassadors presented him their credentials in the Kremlin.

"The Russian side is ready to boost cooperation with Italy in international issues, in light of its OSCE’s Chairmanship this year," he said.

Putin pointed out that both Moscow and Rome had gained vast experience of joint work in various fields.

"We know that Italian business stays motivated to boost trade and economic ties with our country, while promising projects in the aircraft engineering, chemistry, gas processing and other industries are being carried out," Putin said.
