MOSCOW, April 10. /TASS/. Moscow will not give in to the Western countries’ pressure and change its policies, Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.

"Russia does nothing under pressure. Russia always acts in line with its interests," he said, adding that President Vladimir Putin had pointed it out many times.

When asked if the economic difficulties Russia had been facing in the past several days in the wake of new US sanctions could influence Moscow’s position, the Kremlin spokesman admitted that "the situation requires adjustments." "This issue has the necessary attention," Peskov added.
