MOSCOW, April 4. /TASS/. Moscow is interested in a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his US counterpart Donald Trump and will seek to persuade Washington of the need to arrange it, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov told reporters on Wednesday.
"Russia is undoubtedly interested in implementing this idea," Ryabkov said in reply to a question about the prospects for a Russian-US summit.
"We will work hard so that our colleagues in the US administration come to the same conclusion, which is obvious for us," the senior Russian diplomat added.
