MOSCOW, December 20. /TASS/. Moscow is working out measures to protect Russia’s interests amid possible extension of restrictive actions by various countries, the Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Wednesday.

"Moscow is developing and assuming measures protecting our interests amid possible extension of sanctions by various countries, which we still consider to be unlawful," he said.
Earlier a number of media outlets reported with reference to Reuters, that Russia’s VEB development bank might transfer the ownership of Globex bank to the state, which will eventually become a basis for setting up a special bank for financing the country’s defense enterprises. The measure is reportedly aimed at protecting those enterprises in case of further tightening of anti-Russia sanctions.
