All nuclear powers should discuss reducing their arsenals — Russia’s US ambassador

"It seems unfair to me that only the United States and Russia are subject to certain limitations," Russia's ambassador to US said

SAN FRANCISCO, December 1. /TASS/. Russia’s US ambassador, Anatoly Antonov, considers it important that all nuclear powers join the debate on the reduction of their arsenals.

"Involvement of all nuclear powers without exception to the process of limiting and reducing their nuclear arsenals is becoming more and more important," the ambassador said in his speech at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies.

"Frankly speaking, it seems unfair to me that only the United States and Russia are subject to certain limitations," the ambassador added. "And I would say that the same applies to the INF [Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces] Treaty.".
