Kremlin notes closeness of positons with China on global affairs

The countries have similar stances on pressing international issues, such as the Ukraine crisis and the situation on the Korean peninsula

MOSCOW, November 29. /TASS/. Russia and China have close or the same stances on pressing international issues, including the crises on the Korean Peninsula and in Ukraine, the Kremlin said in the documents published in the run-up to a meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang.

"Russia and China have either the same or similar stances on principal issues of the present-day world order and on topical international issues, including Ukraine, the Korean Peninsula, the Middle East and North Africa and the Iran nuclear program," the Kremlin press service said.

The countries maintain close contacts in foreign affairs on this basis, the document says.
