MOSCOW, November 27. /TASS/. Russia will take effort to promote national dialogue in Libya to help that country get out of the protracted crisis, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Monday after a meeting between Russia president’s special envoy for the Middle East and African countries and Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov with adviser to the South African president on Libya Bashir Saleh Bashir.
"Key attention was focused on the development of the situation in Libya and prospects for the intra-Libyan settlement," the ministry said. "The Russian side stressed the importance of establishing of a wide national dialogue in order to get the country out of the protracted crisis. It also reiterated its readiness to continue to promote successful development of the political process in contacts with representatives of Libya’s various political forces."
