TAMBOV, April 4. /TASS/. Russia has been able to ‘overwhelmingly crush terrorists’ but still events occur when innocent people die, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said on Tuesday.
"This problem [of terrorism] is not new to our country and the war on terrorism has been conducted for more than one year and somewhere we have been able to crush terrorists strongly and their activity has subsided considerably," the premier said.
However, "crimes occur when innocent people who have nothing to do either with state power or anyone personally become victims of terrorists and simply a random target is selected and an explosion goes off," the premier said.
