Russian, Turkish diplomats hold consultations on anti-terrorism fight

The diplomats have discussed global and regional terrorist threats

MOSCOW, March 30. /TASS/. Senior diplomats of Russia and Turkey held consultations on Wednesday, discussing fight against terrorism, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported on Thursday.

It said the consultations were co-chaired by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Oleg Syromolotov and Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Kaan Esener. The inter-ministerial consultations discussed "issues of fight against terrorism and organized crime," the ministry said.

It said the diplomats had discussed global and regional terrorist threats and different issues of bilateral cooperation on it in international organizations and through relevant ministries and agencies, also with an aim to ensure security of diplomatic and consular missions of the two countries and their personnel.
