MOSCOW, March 30. /TASS/. Russia is concerned over the deteriorating situation in Ukraine’s southeast and calls on the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to conduct unbiased monitoring in Donbass and other regions, Russia’s Foreign Ministry official spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told reporters.
"We are concerned over the deteriorating situation in Ukraine’s southeast," Zakharova said on Thursday. "According to reports of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission, in March the monitors registered up to 5,000 ceasefire violations every day," she noted.
Zakharova also said the OSCE SMM reports about military hardware spotted near the contact line in Donbass in violation of the agreement on withdrawing weapons. "We call on the mission to carry out impartial monitoring both in Donbass and other regions of Ukraine," the diplomat said.
