TEL AVIV, March 10. /TASS/. Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has received the Jewish War book of Flavius Josephus as a gift from Russian President Vladimir Putin, the press service of the Israeli premier said.
"The gift of President Putin, the Jewish War book, dates from 1526, Italy," the press service said. The book was published in Italy in the Tuscan language, a dialect of Italian spoken in Tuscany.
"The prime minister gave an instruction to hand over the book to the National Library of Israel," Netanyahu’s press service said.
Netanyahu wrapped up his brief working visit to Russia where he held talks with Putin on Thursday.
