Medvedev to take part in Eurasian Intergovernmental Council meeting

The Russian premier is also expected to hold a number of bilateral meetings in Kyrgyzstan

MOSCOW, March 3. /TASS/. Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev will take part in a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, on March 7.

"The participants in the meeting will discuss a wide array of issues related to integration, efforts aimed at regulating the internal market of the Eurasian Economic Union and developing inter-industry cooperation. Particular attention will be paid to the current state of mutual trade between the union’s member-countries, work on mechanisms to counter the illicit trafficking in industrial and agricultural products and protection of intellectual property rights," said a document posted on the Cabinet’s website on Friday.

It is also planned to discuss the Eurasian Economic Commission’s report on the economic sectors that have an integration potential and steps aimed at using it.

The Russian premier is also expected to hold a number of bilateral meetings in Kyrgyzstan.
