MOSCOW, March 1. /TASS/. The transport, social and economic blockade of the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics (DPR, LPR) violates the Minsk agreements, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said at a press conference in Moscow on Wednesday.
"The Minsk agreements stipulate neither a transport blockade nor a social blockade nor an economic one," he stressed. "On the contrary, the Minsk agreements envisage the restoration of a unified economic, transport and infrastructure space."
On the other hand, in Lavrov’s words, in the current conditions, the decision made by the DPR and the LPR to nationalize Ukrainian enterprises located on their territory does not contradict the Minsk agreements.
"I don’t see any issues as far as the actions of the DPR and LPR go, concerning their commitment to the Minsk agreements. We strongly insist on the implementation of these accords," the Russian top diplomat said.
