Russian military delivers humanitarian aid to some 3,800 Syrians over past 24 hours

MOSCOW, February 27. /TASS/. Russian military servicemen were involved in eight humanitarian missions in war-torn Syria’s Aleppo, as well as in provinces of Latakia and Damascus, providing with aid up to 3,800 civilians over the past 24 hours, the Russian Center of the Reconciliation of the Warring Sides in Syria reported on Monday.

The center reported that during the humanitarian missions over the past day one ton of bread, 3,000 hot meals and 800 sets of foodstuffs were delivered to over 3,800 people.

The total weight of the delivered humanitarian aid to local residents is estimated at 6.2 tonnes, the Reconciliation Center said adding that works on the restoration of ruined infrastructure and provision with temporary shelters continued.
