MOSCOW, February 21. /TASS/. Moscow is ready to take part in the implementation of initiatives aimed at ensuring aviation safety over Baltic Sea, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said following his meeting with Swedish top diplomat Margot Wallstrom.
"We are also convinced that there is a need to continue interaction in order to ensure security and create conditions for cooperation in the Baltic region," Lavrov added. "Various initiatives have been put forward to build confidence, including the initiative that the president of Finldand came up with, and we have confirmed our readiness to take part in their implementation."
