Putin, Uruguay's president to discuss economic and cultural cooperation

The Kremlin says that special attention will be given to prospects of expanding trade-economic, cultural and humanitarian ties

MOSCOW, February 14. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin will conduct negotiations with the President of Uruguay, Tabare Vasquez, on cooperation within economic and cultural spheres on February 16, the Kremlin said on Tuesday.

"The President of Uruguay Tabare Vasquez will visit Moscow at the invitation of President Putin on February 15-17", the Kremlin said. "During the meeting set for February 16, the two leaders will discuss all issues on cooperation between Russia and Uruguay."

The Kremlin said that special attention would be given to prospects of expanding trade-economic, cultural and humanitarian ties, enhancing foreign policy cooperation through different international organizations, above all the UN, and regional integration arrangements. Following negotiations, the parties will sign a number of bilateral accords.
