MOSCOW, February 10. /TASS/. The release of the Russian nationals who have been convicted in the United States continues to be a priority for Russia, Russian Ambassador to the US, Sergey Kislyak, told the Rossiya 24 TV channel on Friday.

"We have repeatedly pointed to the need to release our citizens, both Bout and Yaroshenko. Our US counterparts have actually staged a manhunt of Russian citizens. This is totally unacceptable, and, of course, we cannot agree with that. Now the new administration has assumed office, we shall see. However, this has always been on our agenda and will remain a top-priority issue in relations with that country," he said.
