MOSCOW, December 15. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Ministry’s official spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has commented on France’s call to hold a new UN Security Council meeting on Syria.

"After a UN Security Council meeting that has just been held, this similar step can be explained by only one thing. The Elysee Palace is urgently trying to divert attention from the scandal with Mr Hollande’s hairdresser," Zakharova wrote on her Facebook page on Thursday.

"A famous phrase ‘after us, the deluge’ sounds differently today ‘after us, at least the UN Security Council’," she added.

French media earlier reported that French President Francois Hollande’s hairdresser earns around 10,000 euro monthly, which can the compared to the earnings of regular ministers.
