BELGRADE, December 12./TASS/. Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev is expected to visit Serbia early in 2017, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Monday.
According to the top diplomat, relations of Russia and Serbia are characterized by a regular political dialog.
"President of Serbia Tomislav Nikolic has visited Russia twice this year. Next thing on the agenda is a visit to Serbia of Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, at the start of next year," he said.
"We have discussed today preparations for this important event," Lavrov added. "We will always be glad to see in Russia the president of Serbia, the prime minister and the foreign minister," Lavrov added.
