Philippine defense minister to meet Russian counterpart in Moscow

MOSCOW, December 5. /TASS/. Philippine Defense Minister Delfin Lorenzana is currently in Moscow to meet his Russian counterpart Sergei Shoigu, Philippine Foreign Minister Perfecto Yasay said after meeting with Russian top diplomat Sergey Lavrov.

"The Philippine defense minister is also in Moscow, he will hold talks with Russian defense minister," Yasay said.

Lavrov, in turn, added that Lorenzana was expected to meet with representatives of Russia’s Federal Service for Military and Technical Cooperation as well.
