MOSCOW, November 23. /TASS/. Russia has always been in favor of normalizing relations with the United States, President Vladimir Putin said on Wednesday.
"We have always wanted normal relations [with the US]," Putin told reporters. "We have always said that any restrictions in the spheres of trade and economic cooperation are harmful to everyone."
Putin also said that Russia is not striving for the lifting of sanctions.
"This decision should be made by our partners in the US and Western Europe," he said.
