MOSCOW, November 17. /TASS/. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexey Meshkov and Gernot Erler, the Special Representative for Germany’s 2016 OSCE chairmanship, have discussed preparations for the organization’s Ministerial Council meeting to be held in Hamburg on December 8-9, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported on Thursday.
"The Russian side regards it (the Council) as an important platform for a top-level political dialogue, which is particularly urgent in the conditions of the ongoing crisis of the pan-European security system," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
Meshkov expressed hope for the success of the ministerial meeting in Hamburg, the ministry said.
