MOSCOW, November 16. /TASS/. Russia's Aerospace Forces in Syria are working on the targets that are not located in the Aleppo area, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov told reporters on Wednesday.
"The sorties of Russia’s Aerospace Forces in Syria and the air group of the Navy are carried out on the targets that are not in the Aleppo area. In Aleppo the situation remains the same and without any changes," the diplomat said.
The airstrikes carried out by Russia’s Aerospace Forces on militants in Syria are surgical, Ryabkov said commenting on the Western accusations against Moscow.
"Our strikes in Syria are proportionate, surgical and precise," the diplomat said adding that "labeling is the work of those who counteract Russia’s efforts."

The diplomat stressed military contacts between Russia and the US on Syria have not been interrupted.

"As for Americans, military contacts have not been interrupted, they continue, including in Geneva, where a military delegation is working," he said.
A meeting between Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and US Secretary of State John Kerry will take place in November 17 in the capital of Peru, Lima, Ryabkov went on.
"The meeting will be held on November 17 according to Lima Time," he said, adding that the ministers will also discuss the US sanctions policy towards Russia.
"It is clear that anti-Russian policy will not be revised under Obama. However, the issue has become relevant once again," he noted. "I am sure that the minister will discuss it with the US Secretary of State fundamentally."
