MOSCOW, November 9. /TASS/. Meeting of EU Foreign Ministers to discuss Donald Trump's victory in the presidential election in the US reflects confusion, if not concern, in the European countries over the fact, Vladimir Chizhov, the Russian ambassador to the EU said on Wednesday.

"This statement (by Frank-Walter Steinmeier, Germany's Foreign Minister TASS) reflects an element of confusion," he said in an interview with Rossiya'24 channel in a comment on Steinmeier's decision to hold a conference at the level of foreign ministers for discussing the situation.

On Election Day, November 8, United States citizens cast their ballots and elected their 45th US President, Donald J. Trump.
