MOSCOW, November 3. /TASS/. The Russian military delegation led by the Navy Chief Commander Vladimir Korolev has started its official visit to China, Igor Dygalo, spokesman for Russian Defense Ministry’s department of information and mass communications, said on Thursday.
"The visit of the Chief Commander of the Russian Navy Vladimir Korolev to the People’s Republic of China will last until November 6," Dygalo said.
He added that the Russian delegation will meet with commanders of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army and of the Navy. Korolev will also visit the base of the Chinese Northern Fleet in Qingdao where he will examine military ships, pay a visit to the military school of Chinese divers and meet with the fleet’s commanders.
Dygalo noted that the visit is held in accordance with the plan on international military cooperation.
