JERUSALEM, October 28. /TASS/. Russia speaks in favor of continued discussions on the reform of the UN Security Council, Deputy Foreign Minister Gennady Gatilov said answering a question from TASS.
"We do believe the UN Security Council requires certain reforming and we speak for continuing discussions on the issue," Gatilov, on a working visit to Israel, said.
He said a few dozen years have passed "since the last decision on expansion of the Security Council."
"The world has changed, the Security Council, its members should properly respond to the new challenges and threats the international community faces," Gatilov said.
He said Moscow speaks for not imposing some variant of solution by one group of countries upon another.
