MOSCOW, October 26. /TASS/. The trilateral meeting of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, his Iranian counterpart Javad Zarif and Syrian top diplomat Walid Muallem on October 28 in Moscow is under consideration, a source in the Russian foreign ministry told TASS on Wednesday.
Earlier a Russian diplomatic source said that Zarif was expected to arrive in Moscow to meet with Lavrov on October 28.
Besides that, on Wednesday the Russian foreign ministry said that Lavrov and Muallem, who will arrive in Russia’s capital on Thursday on a working visit, will discuss the military, political and humanitarian situation in Syrian during bilateral talks on October 28.
"The parties will focus on the situation in Aleppo, and the efforts by the Russian and Syrian military in continuing to fight IS (Islamic State terror group, outlawed in Russia) and Jabhat an-Nusra ( terror group, outlawed in Russia), provide civilians with humanitarian aid, first and foremost food, medicines and basic necessities.
