YALTA, October 26. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin conducts negotiations with all politicians around the globe for the benefit of his country, his personal preferences do not matter, Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Wednesday.
"The key point for the president is not Trump, nor Hillary Clinton. The main thing is the interests of the Russian Federation," the Kremlin Spokesman stressed. "The president has said on numerous occasions that he is ready to negotiate with any leader of a foreign country, including the United States, for the benefit of the Russian Federation to develop mutually advantageous bilateral relations that would contribute to the prosperity of our two countries."
Peskov added that the question of who will be the next US president "is not Putin’s matter, nor is it Russia’s concern, this issue is for voters in the United States of America."
