MOSCOW, October 20. /TASS/. Militants in Syria’s Aleppo are disrupting the ceasefire and hindering evacuation of the population, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov told US Secretary of State John Kerry by phone, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported Thursday.
"Lavrov pointed to the fact that not only civilians but also participants of illegal armed units have been given the chance to leave the city without hindrance, but militants are disrupting the cessation of fire and hindering evacuation of the population," the statement said.
"It has been underscored again that the United States should fulfill its longstanding promise to separate detachments of ‘moderate’ opposition from terrorist groups," it said.
"It has been agreed that Russian and American experts will continue work on these issues," the ministry said.
