MOSCOW, October 19. /TASS/. Russian President’s Special Representative for the Middle East and African Countries, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov at a meeting with the United Nations Special Envoy for Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed expressed deep concern over numerous civilian deaths in the region, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
"The parties paid special attention to the political settlement in Yemen and cessation of the violent armed domestic conflict involving the Saudi-led Arab coalition," the ministry said. "In this regard Russia expressed alarm over the violations of international humanitarian law and numerous civilian deaths."
