YEREVAN, October 14. /TASS/. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov rejected rumors on Friday that Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan had agreed the candidacy of the republic’s premier with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.

"No, this is not true. This is pure nonsense," Peskov told journalists.

Putin does not influence the Armenian internal policy in any way, the Kremlin spokesman said.

"You know that Russia is very meticulous about ensuring that no one interferes in our internal affairs. But Russia is also very accurate about avoiding to do anything that could be interpreted as the interference into the internal affairs of other countries, all the more so, our nearest partners, to which Armenia is also referred," the presidential spokesman said.
