MOSCOW, October 7. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin is to take part in the 23rd World Energy Congress in Istanbul on October 10, the Kremlin press service said.
"Putin will speak at a special session of the Forum," the statement said.
The Russian president will also hold talks with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan. "Relevant issues in Russian-Turkish relations, regional and international agenda will be discussed, it is planned to sign bilateral documents," an official in the Kremlin said.
"In the sidelines of the forum the Russian leader is also to meet other heads of states, who participate in the event. As earlier President's press secretary Dmitry Peskov said, in particular, Putin will have a separate meeting with Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.
