Putin to discuss Russia-Monaco cooperation with Prince Albert II

MOSCOW, October 5. /TASS/. Russia’s President Vladimir Putin and Prince of Monaco Albert II will discuss the prospects of bilateral cooperation on October 6 in Moscow, the Kremlin press-service informed.

"On October 6, Vladimir Putin will meet with the ruling Prince of Monaco Albert II who will visit Russia on the occasion of the ‘Days of Monaco" event," the press service said in a statement.

During the ‘Days of Monaco’ festival, the leaders of the two countries will open the "The Grimaldi and the Romanovs. Three centuries of history" an archival exhibition of documents at the Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow. 

Council of Europe cooperation prospects

Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Alexei Meshkov and Monaco’s Foreign Minister Gilles Tonelli discussed bilateral cooperation and the prospects of interaction in the Council of Europe (CE), the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

"The parties focused on the current bilateral agenda," the ministry said in a statement. "The pressing global issues were also thoroughly discussed and the prospects of Russian-Monacan interaction in the CE were determined."
