MOSCOW, September 30. /TASS/. A total of 61 ceasefire violations by illegal armed groups were reported during the day in Syria, the Russian center for reconciliation of the warring parties said in its regular daily news bulletin posted on the Russian defense ministry’s website on Friday.
Armed groups which have declared their joining the regime of cessation of hostilities conducted fire from self-made multiple missile launcher systems, anti-tank guided missile systems, mortars and firearms at the settlement of Mukhayyam al-Nayrab in the province of Aleppo, Aleppo’s district of al-Masharka, the settlements of Harasta (two times), Douma, Jobar, and Hawsh al-Fara in the province of Damascus, the settlements of Ain al-Qantara, Kesab, Kinsibba and positions of government troops near Abu Ali mount in the province of Latakia.
In the province of Damascus, the settlements of Hawsh-Nasri (three times), Jobar, Kabun, a medical service school in the settlement of Harasta and the Ibn Sina hospital came under shelling from self-made multiple missile launcher systems, tanks, mortars and firearms.
In the province of Aleppo, terrorists shelled the settlements of Azizi, Braij al-Rih, Ansar (two times), Maarata, and Aleppo’s districts of Hai al-Ansari (six times), al-Masharka, al-Zahra (two times), Ramusi (two times), 1070 (three times), Leramon (three times), Dahiya al-Assad, the Qaryat Halab castle (four times), checkpoints one and two on Castello Road, TV towers in the Hai al-Antari district, the Castello trade center (two times), gas and cement plants, Syriatel cellular communications operator’s stations and positions of government forces near Aleppo’s districts of Ramusi and 1070.
In the province of Hama, shelling was conducted at the settlements of Maan, Mubattan, Maharda and Krah (two times). In the province of Homs, the settlement of Kafer Nan came under shelling.
"No air strikes were delivered by the Russian air group and the Syrian air force at armed opposition group which have declared cessation of hostilities and informed the Russian or U.S. reconciliation centers about their locations," the Russian reconciliation center said.
The Russian Defense Ministry declared the establishment of the reconciliation center on February 23. It is headquartered at the Hmeimim air base, Latakia province. The center was set up in line with agreements reached by Russia and the United States to facilitate the negotiations between the Syrian government and opposition and to organize humanitarian deliveries.
