Russian, Macedonian foreign ministers interested in developing bilateral relations

MOSCOW, September 22. /TASS/. The foreign ministers of Russia and Macedonia, Sergei Lavrov and Nikola Poposki had a meeting on the sidelines of the 71st session of the UN General Assembly, a Russian Foreign Ministry representative said on Thursday.

"The two foreign ministers discussed bilateral relations, joint action plans, as well as exchanged views on the most topical international problems," the representative said.

"With due into account Macedonia’s non-alignment to the EU policy of sanctions against Russia, the two sides pointed to the mutual interest in further development of Russian-Macedonian cooperation in a wide range of spheres," the official said.
