Putin to hold Security Council meeting

The Russian president is expected to present state awards

MOSCOW, September 22. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin will on Thursday hold a meeting of the country’s Security Council, present state awards to outstanding Russians and meet with representatives of the Kamaz-master racing team, the Kremlin reported.

At the Security Council meeting, "a set of issues connected with improvement of the state regional policy" will be considered, the statement said.

The previous Security Council meeting took place September 12. The topics discussed included the situation in Syria, military drills and the CIS summit.
