MOSCOW, September 22. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov held a series of contacts with U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported on its Facebook page.
"On September 21, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov, who is taking part in the session of the UN General Assembly in New York, held a series of contacts with U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry," the statement said.
"During a phone conversation, which occurred on the American side’s initiative, and the meeting that followed as part of delegations, problems of Syrian settlement continued to be discussed," it said.
