MOSCOW, September 5. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will speak with new urgent initiatives at the upcoming 71st session of the United Nations General Assembly, Russia’s Permanent Representative to the UN Vitaly Churkin told the Izvestia daily.
"I am convinced that new urgent initiatives will be heard during general political discussion at the end of September. It would be premature to reveal their content now," Churkin said.
Russia’s priority topics include prevention of an arms race in space, ensuring international information security, continuation of work to counter attempts to revise the history of World War II and boosting interaction with regional organizations, he said.
