Deputy PM says $15.3 mln will be granted to Russia’s Primorye region for flood relief

Russia’s Primorsky region will get $15.2 mln from the federal budget, deputy prime minister has announced

VLADIVOSTOK, September 3. /TASS/. Russia’s Primorsky region will receive $15.2 mln for flood relief, Deputy Prime Minister and Presidential Plenipotentiary in the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev told journalists.

"Yesterday, we talked with the Finance Minister Anton Siluanov and agreed that the region will receive $15.3 mln from the federal budget," he said. 

The provisional damage caused by flood in Russia’s Primorsky region is estimated at $18.42 mln. 

"The funds needed for flood relief have already been calculated - $18.42 mln according to the Russian Ministry for Emergency Situations. This is still a preliminary figure, we can finalize it after the water is gone," Trutnev announced.

The final figures will be listed in the Governmental decree on calculation of real damages.
