MOSCOW, September 1. /TASS/. Russia will facilitate in every possible way the durable and steady character of the ceasefire in Donbass, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Thursday in a commentary on the results of a teleconference of the Contact Group for settling the armed civil conflict in eastern Ukraine, the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission, and the Joint Control and Coordination Center.
"Participants in the teleconference confirmed that peace and full quiet order had been established in all the areas adjoining the line of contact" that separates the warring sides in Donbass.
"In this connection, they expressed a general opinion on the importance of supplementary measures in order to impart a durable and steady character to the ceasefire, including through the implementation of all the previously reached agreements in the sphere of security," the ministry said.
"On our part, we will facilitate the appropriate contacts in every possible way in order to attain this crucial objective," the ministry said.
