Putin to hand over NPP unit to India with Modi, meet with Sargsyan on Wednesday

MOSCOW, August 9. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin will participate in the format of a videoconference in the ceremony of handing the first unit of the Kudankulam nuclear power plant (NPP) to Indian people together with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Kremlin press service said on Wednesday.

The Russian president will also "hold another meeting with members of the Russian government" on August 10, the press service added. The main issue on the agenda "will be the question of fulfilling measures on developing the Russian Far East," the Kremlin noted adding that the session will also focus on several relevant topics.

Putin will also hold talks with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan in Moscow, the Kremlin said.
