MOSCOW, August 4. /TASS/. Vladimir Zhirinovsky, leader of Russia’s Liberal Democratic Party, suspects that he may turn out to be a distant relative of US Republican Presidential Candidate, Donald Trump.

"I’ve sent my tests to a US laboratory. As for my genealogy… among my relatives there is the 36th US President, Lindon Johnson and two US vice-presidents. If one takes a close look at Donald Trump’s lineage, possibly some direct relatives will surface. I mean, members of a clan that 10,000 years ago were scattered all over the globe," Zhirinovsky told a news conference at TASS on Thursday.

As he discussed Trump, Zhirinovsky pointed out that his manners, gestures and some of his comments were very close to his own.

"I feel there is something about him (Trump) that is very close to me. He is a fluent and articulate speaker. His quick to react and offer a comment," Zhirinovsky said. "Also, many of you here view me with a certain air of irony," he added.
