MOSCOW, July 29. /TASS/. The Russian government has approved for ratification the agreement with Damascus from 26 August 2015 to deploy Russian Aerospace Defense Forces’ aviation group on the territory of Syria, according to the document published on the official portal of legal information on Friday.
"To approve and send to the Russian president for submitting for ratification to the State Duma the Agreement between the Russian Federation and Syrian Arab Republic on deployment of the Russian Aerospace Defense Forces’ aviation group on the territory of Syria, signed in Damascus on 26 August 2015," the document says.
