VIENTIANE, July 26. /TASS/. Russia praises relations of partnership with Laos, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Tuesday at a meeting with Laotian Prime Minister Thongloun Sisoulith.
"We praise our partnership with Laos, which has a long and glorious history," he said. "It is filled with the feeling of friendship and good-neighborliness."
Moscow gives priority attention to the policy towards Asia, including development of relations with Laos and other ASEAN member-states, Lavrov said, adding that the Russia-ASEAN summit in the Russian seaside resort city of Sochi in May became an important event.
"Laos also played an important role in organizing the meeting," he said.
