MOSCOW, July 12. /TASS/. Moscow and London are both interested in restoring bilateral relations, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Tuesday.
"It is hard to say for now," Peskov said answering a question on whether Moscow pins hope for improving relations between Russia and UK after the new prime minister is appointed in Britain. "Of course, Russia has always supported maintaining and restoring good relations with Great Britain. We have long traditions of relations and think that they are now rather unfairly and illogically in the state of lethargy," he added.
"Restoring these relations, making them more dynamic, developing them would be in line with interests of both Moscow and London," the spokesman noted.
